As we've collected your ideas and suggestions, one element we have heard often is how much many of you and your listening teens value and enjoy dual narrator performances. Well, dual narrators it is in our second title: Charlotte Parry and Christian Coulson share the performance of Dawn Kurtagich's THE DEAD HOUSE.
In addition to two voices, there are musical passages, other ambient sounds, smells, and even visions aplenty here--all provided by the author's written words. This is great horror, too, well informed by Dawn Kurtagich's awareness of mental health issues and treatments in addition to her passion for telling a great story. All in all, here's a title, thanks to Hachette Audio, with a lot of depth along with the shivers. No wonder it's earned the Earphones Award from our host, AudioFile Magazine!
