For computers and tablets Windows 8/10

  1. Ensure you have downloaded the OverDrive app for Windows 8/10.
  2. Go to www.audiobooksync.com and select the available title you wish to download.
  3. Type in your name and email and click the green button that says "Get your FREE download now!"
  4.  If prompted, select "Run" or "Open" (not "Save") to open the audiobook in the OverDrive app.  Note: The file you're downloading in this step is an .ODM file. This is not the audiobook, but it's a file that lets you get the audiobook. Don't save this file, because it will expire and you won't be able to use it to get the audiobook later. If the audiobook file doesn't download automatically follow the prompt to CLICK HERE.
  5. Verify your title has been downloaded (after the download period has ended there is no opportunity to download again).
  6. If you'd like to move the audiobook's MP3 files to another device, you can usually find the files by going to C:\Users\Yourcomputername\Music\MyMedia\OverDrive or by searching on your computer by title name.
